BYKALIV is an internet based business. Our website is our shopfront. Please place your order online and we will deliver to you.
Please take a few minutes to read the following terms & conditions prior to purchasing any of our products on-line. The terms and conditions govern the use of this web site and the purchase of any goods from it.
Any personal information that you provide including your name, address, telephone number and email address will not be released to anybody outside BYKALIV.BYKALIV does not collect or record any credit card details you may provide when purchasing products. Your credit card details are processed by Shopify or Paypal.
Please note that BYKALIV may delete, add or amend any information or product on the online store with out notice.
We accept PayPal and all major credit cards. Our site uses SSL encryption to keep your information secure and private. All prices at BYKALIV.com are in Australian Dollars (AUD) includes GST.
All products are hand-poured in small batches. This ensures freshness is maintained and you are receiving the best product. Our advertised products should be in stock. Very occasionally we may unexpectedly run out of a product and if this happens, we will refund you. If the item is due to be back in stock within the week, we will ship your order the same day our stock is ready. Any later, you will be notified and refunded. For all store bought items, please see your original place of purchase.
ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Order changes or cancellations can only be accepted if your order has not already been dispatched. You may cancel or make changes to your order via email during our business hours Eastern Standard Time (Sydney). Please see below for our Returns Policy. For all store bought items, please see your original place of purchase.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
All orders process every working day so that you can receive your BYKALIV products as soon as possible pending stock availability and payment verification.
Orders placed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) are shipped the next day.
Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will ship out the following day after Monday (excluding public holidays).
All International sales are final (exception faulty goods).
No refunds (exception faulty goods).
For Australian customers, any items chosen incorrectly from BYKALIV.com, may be returned with our authority within 7 days from receiving your package, with a 15% restocking and handling fee applied - any product damaged in transit will be deducted form your refund - refunds will be sent as coupons to be used in your next shopping basket. The intended return goods must be returned unused, in their original condition, all tags and papers, original packaging with original invoice must be included.
Prior to a return you must contact BYKALIV via email at email@example.com to obtain a return authorisation number & state the reason for the return. Orders returned to BYKALIV without an authorisation number will not be recognised and will be marked return to sender. Upon receipt of your email we will provide further instructions to complete your return or replacement as quickly as possible.
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and must be sent via a prepaid and traceable method to ensure safe with proof of postage. BYKALIV does not accept responsibility for ‘lost’ returned orders. The original shipping costs are not refundable. Please write to us and have our response letter before returning any products.
If you wish to make an exchange to another product please notify us immediately. If the item is more than the original you will be charged the difference by credit card. If the item is cheaper than the original you will be issued with a coupon to be used in your next shopping basket valid for 3 months.
Coupon issued through BYKALIV online store are only valid at bykaliv.com.

FAULTY & DAMAGED GOODS
All items are thoroughly checked before sending and are packaged with care. In the unlikely event that you receive an item that is faulty or damaged, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a return authorisation number within 7 days of purchase. Your replacement is subject to you returning the original items and deemed to be legitimately faulty by BYKALIV, as the supplier.
Only in the event of a faulty item is the return postage paid for by BYKALIV.Return of faulty items must adhere to the same criteria as listed above, the Returns & Exchanges Policy and to the following:
The items must have been purchased from BYKALIV.com within 7 days of purchase.
You must notify BYKALIV via email at email@example.com with:
(i) Order number with a “proof of purchase” being either the email confirmation or invoice from BYKALIV
(ii) Your name and address
(iii) Description of damaged product(s)
(iv) Picture of the damaged product(s) with a description of the fault
BYKALIV holds the right to request a photographic image be emailed through to assess faults prior to a return authorisation being given. We will respond within 48 business hours with a Damage ID number. Items must be sent back at BYKALIV via a prepaid and traceable method.
If you receive a package which is visually damaged or opened insist that this is noted with the carrier before signing for your order.
If an item is not deemed damaged or incorrect, we have the right to leave the order as is or swap at your cost.
We retain the right to refund the product and not replace. Alternatively, replacements may be added to future orders.
*** Please note that if you damage the glass in the course of normal use is not considered a fault. Your Glassware should be handled with care.***For more information on how to care for your BYKALIV products please refer to the Care Instructions on the product pages of our website or write to us here.
RECYCLE OR REUSE
Our product as well as packaging materials can be recycled, which we encourage everyone to do. Should you choose to reuse the candle glass when finished please do so with extreme care. We can recommend the following instructions to clean the glass:
(i) Wrap the inner jar with a handful of paper towels.
(ii) Use the paper towels to loosen the metal wick tabs from the bottom of the glass.
(iii) Once the wick tabs are removed, discard the paper towels and the wick tabs in the bin.
(iv) Once all the remaining wax residue is removed you can wash the glass with warm, soapy water.
We recommend hand washing glass for on-going use.
**PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION IF CLEANING THE GLASS. CLEANING THE GLASS FOR REUSE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR GLASS THAT BREAKS DURING THIS PROCESS.**
